Broncs win season opener, lose following three games

The Burns Broncs basketball team won their first game of the season and then fell to Wyoming Indian, Wind River and Snake River during the Burns Winter Classic Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

The Broncs faced the Moorcroft Wolves their first game of the season and came away with the win by 12 points. Burns trialed behind Moorcroft at the end of the first quarter 10-14, but fought hard in the second quarter to lead at halftime by five points, 26-21.
