The fourth quarter was another fierce battle between the teams as the Lady Falcon's only outscored Pawnee by three points. The Lady Coyotes lost 29-50.

According to Head Coach Janelle Robertson, the game against the Lady Falcons started off to be a great match up. “The first half of the game we were neck and neck with a margin of only two to four points. We went to the locker room at the half down by only five with a score of 17-22. In the second half, Front Range Baptist came out and ran away with the game, scoring 28 points to our 12.”

Rhiannon Mowery led the Lady Coyotes in scoring with 16 points, including four three-point shots and also had seven rebounds. Jaycie Hahn pitched in 11 points and had 13 rebounds. Malauriane Russell added two points and had six rebounds. Missy Cline brought down nine rebounds, Erin Ellis grabbed five rebounds and Gracie Robinson had two rebounds.

Robertson said that the team is getting better as they had 34 defensive rebounds and caused 31 turnovers during the game. “I am proud of my Lady Coyotes! Win or lose, they go out with confidence and enthusiasm every game and I applaud them for that.”

The Lady Coyotes will travel to Fleming, Colo., Jan. 6 after the holiday break to compete against conference-rival the Lady Wildcats.
