Pine Bluffs senior Hunter Thompson had a busy 2016 by helping the Hornets win a 2A state basketball championship while breaking the school's all-time scoring record, catching the winning touchdown to bring home the school's first 1A state football title and signing to play basketball at the University of Wyoming beginning next fall.

The Burns – Pine Bluffs wrestling team was showing improvement as they competed in the Bison Bonanza.

The annual Wyoming Wheat Growers Association meeting was to be held in Albin with many speakers on tap.

The Town of Pine Bluffs was accepting applications for a police officer position.

Albin Elementary School students were treated to a performance of "Cinderella" performed by members of Ballet Wyoming.

Online certification for irrigators was available...
