Transportation Commission awards $31.8 million in highway contracts in January

Construction crews will start preliminary work on a $9 million paving and rehabilitation project on 7 miles of Interstate 80 west of Cheyenne this summer.

The Wyoming Transportation Commission awarded Knife River of Cheyenne the contract for the work near Otto Road in Laramie County during its meeting on Jan. 19. The contract was one of 13 the commission awarded totaling $31.8 million.
