Hornets beat Broncs, Tigers to continue streak

13-0 on the season; last loss was 12/18/2015 vs. Greybull (37 straight wins)

The Hornets beat the Broncs 69-11 last Friday to improve to a 12-0 record and remain unbeaten in the 2A Southeast.

The Pine Bluffs Hornets just keep on winning, something they have been doing since Dec. 18, 2015. That was the last time the team tasted defeat, losing to Greybull, 58-57. Later that day, the Hornets started their current win streak by beating Hill City, South Dakota, 68-29. The Hornets won out the rest of their games last season, which ended in a state championship on March 5, 2016. At the halfway point in the 2016-17 season, the Hornets are knocking down opponents left and right; Burns and Niobrara County were no exception last weekend.
