Foes feel the sting of the Lady Hornets

Defending 2A state champs the Pine Bluffs Lady Hornets added two more wins to their unblemished record last week, downing both Southeast and Glenrock.


Normally a hornet is no match for a cyclone, but just try telling that to the Pine Bluffs girls. The Lady Hornets played host to the Lady Cyclones last Friday and promptly handed the visitors a 56-38 loss.

Pine took a 29-11 lead into the break. Both teams scored 27 points in the second half and Southeast went home with a loss.
