Pawnee boys edge Prairie; fall to Longmont Christian

The Warriors beat Pawnee 72-43 to send the Coyotes to 5-9 on the season. Pawnee is on the road this week, traveling to Briggsdale on Thursday and Weldon Valley on Friday.

The Pawnee Coyotes split a pair of home games last weekend, hanging on to beat the Prairie Mustangs last Friday, 49-46.

The next day, the Warriors from Longmont Christian pulled into Grover and defeated Pawnee, 72-43.

The boys are now 5-9 on the season with just a couple weeks left on the regular season schedule.

No stats from either game were provided to the newspaper before press time.

The Coyotes will travel to Briggsdale on Thursday, Feb. 9 to face the 0-15 Falcons in conference play.

Then, on Friday, Feb. 10, Pawnee will visit Weldon Valley to take on the 12-3 Warriors.
