Coyotes down Arickaree/Woodlin; fall to Caliche

The Coyotes fought hard throughout the game, tying the score at the end of regulation time and the first overtime period, but lost 56-54 to the Buffaloes in the second overtime.

The Pawnee Coyotes ended the regular season last week with a pair of games. Things got off to a strong start with a 61-55 win over Arickaree/Woodlin last Thursday, but the Coyotes lost to Caliche last Saturday in double overtime, 56-54, to end the regular season at 7-11.


The Coyotes took a 23-13 lead in the first quarter but Arickaree/Woodlin battled back in the second to take a 33-30 lead at the break.

Pawnee used the second half to chisel away at the deficit, outscoring Arickaree/Woodlin 16-12 in the third quarter to go up 46-45.
