Wrestlers place third at regionals; state tourney starts friday

The Burns-Pine Bluffs wrestling team placed third at the WHSAA 2A East Regional in Moorcroft to the state tournament in Casper starting this Friday.

"We had a good region tournament," said head coach Dan Clayson. "The kids wrestled well. We have a few things that we will work on to try and improve for the state tournament, but overall we are looking pretty good. Isaac, Ruger, Boe, and Darrell all had great tournaments, and Boe wrestled a good match in the finals. Zach, Kestrel, Jeff, Ben, and Roman wrestled back well, and that is what it takes to be a good team. We learned a lot about ourse...
