The Grover FFA Chapter acknowledged Ann Gebauer for nominating them to receive the America's Farmer Grow Communities Grant. Rocky mountain oysters were on the menu at the 47th Annual Grover FFA Hired Hand Auction and Oyster Fry held at Pawnee School in Grover, Colo. last Saturday night.

Also being served were chicken strips, potato salad, beans and corn. A silent auction was held, with attendees able to bid on various items like, welding gloves or masks, a roll of barbed wire, wildflower seeds, tools, etc.

The oyster fry was over seen by Alexandria Sanders the FFA advisor. Sanders, in addition, teaches the fifth through twelfth grade students. She teaches biology, fifth and sixth grade science, fifth through ei...
