Bad weather cancels Bayard Invite; local teams try again this week

The Burns and Pine Bluffs teams were all set to compete at the Bayard Invitational last weekend, but unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans.

With the threat of inclement weather looming, officials cancelled the meet.

Pine Bluffs was just coming off a dual first-place finish at the Kimball Invite the previous week and they hope to keep some momentum going when they head to Chappell this Friday.

The Burns track and field team will head to Mitchell on Thursday to compete.
