Community Calendar

 


Items for possible inclusion in the weekly community calendar should be typewritten or legibly printed. All submissions should include the name and daytime telephone number of the person submitting the information in case questions arise.

Items which may be included in the calendar are church events, club meetings, and school events.

If your club will not be meeting or has a change, please contact us so we can update the calendar with the correct information as soon as possible.

Items should be received on Monday at 5 p.m., one week prior to the date they will appear in the calendar.

They may be faxed to 307-245-3325, e-mailed to pinebluffseditor@rtconnect.net, mailed to Pine Bluffs Post, P.O. Box 68, Pine Bluffs, WY 82082, or dropped off at the Post’s office located at 201 E. 2nd St.

Every Weekday Morning

Every morning from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. you can get together with your friends for coffee and conversation at the Pine Bluffs Senior Center.

Every Tuesday

Every Tuesday at 1 p.m. Bingo is held at the Pine Bluffs Senior Center.

Every Wednesday

Pick up pickleball will be held Wednesdays at the Community Center from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Pickleball is a game played indoors on a small court with a paddle and whiffle ball. Free of charge, everyone is welcome.

Every Monday, Wednesday & Friday

Senior Shape Up at the Pine Bluffs Fitness Center from 8:15 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. This is a free exercise program designed to promote flexibility, muscle strength, coordination and general overall fitness.

Thursdays

The Pine Bluffs Senior Center will start Nintendo Wii Bowling Leagues starting February 11! These are 17-week leagues: Jan-April; May-Aug; Sept-Dec.

Times are 9-11 a.m. Please come in before the February 11 to create your Wii profile.

Join us every Thursday for an interactive storytime session designed for preschool children and their caregivers to practice new skills incorporating books, songs, rhymes, movement, and more!

Join us for an afternoon of ice cream and a chance to see Disney’s Moana! All tweens and young teens welcome—bring a friend or two! Rated PG. (Grades 5-8; Burns Branch Library)

9th Annual Community Wide Garage Sale – Saturday, June 3.

Early bird registration begins April 17 and runs through May 8.

Register your sale at the Pine Bluffs Town Hall, M-F, 8a-4p. You can register after the May 8 deadline for an extra fee.

Registrations received after May 29 will not be guaranteed to be on the official garage sale map.

Dinner and A Movie: The Light Between Oceans

Lighthouse keeper Tom Sherbourne and his radiant, spirited wife, Isabel, live together in married bliss on a remote, rugged island off the coast of Australia. But their windswept world is turned upside down when Isabel learns that she’s unable to bear a child. One day, a drifting lifeboat washes ashore with a crying baby in it.
