Weather spotter training next month

Eastern Laramie County residents will have the opportunity to assist the National Weather Service in a critical area.

Each year, the NWS hosts severe weather spotter training courses for volunteers who want to help the agency gather critical storm data and help keep their communities safe.

The volunteers spot and describe severe storms, according to the NWS.

This year, the Pine Bluffs Laramie County Community College branch is partnering with the NWS to offer spotter classes in Pine Bluffs.
