Governor visits Pine Bluffs students

Wyoming Governor Matt Mead reads "Ben Franklin's Big Spash to fifth and sixth graders at Pine Bluffs Elementary School Monday.

Wyoming Governor Matt Mead and First Lady Carol Mead were in Pine Bluffs Monday to read to elementary school children. Fittingly, the Governor read "Ben Franklin's Big Splash" to Pine Bluffs Elementary students. First Lady Mead read "The Magical Guardian of Claud Maunette."

They were joined by school and law enforcement officials for the afternoon event as well with Pine Bluffs Police Chief Justin Trout joining in alongside Laramie County Sheriff's Department Deputy Char Madden. Superintendent Jon Abrams was also on hand to read to students.
