'Feather in our cap'

Pine Bluffs track and field head coach Dustin Lee was pleasantly surprised in Glenrock last weekend.

"The girls winning was a nice feather in our cap," Lee said. "I knew we could win, but it was going to take getting people in events they're not normally in and having some kids do better than normal.

"And they did awesome. They won by a lot more points than I even anticipated."

Lee said the win came from "a lot of kids stepping up."

One example of that was an personal best performance in the discus from Sophie Howard made it four Lady Hornets who placed in the shot put.
