Burns graduates 29

Twenty-nine students took the first steps of the rest of their lives Sunday at Burns High School before a gym filled with friends and family.

"This packed gym is only one of many examples I can remember of growing up in a very supportive community," Valedictorian Reese Burnett said.

For Burnett, high school has been a journey of trials and tribulations.

When he started junior high basketball, Burnett traveled to Kimball with the rest of his teammates.

When the B-team took the court, Burnett wasn't called off the bench.
