Farmers Markets still going strong

Growing our own food, raising our own meat animals and poulty has been around for hundreds of years. The general population relies on the farmers and ranchers to supply the food we eat.
With this need, in the very early days back in the 1600s in Boston, Massachusetts, farmers and ranchers set up in town squares selling the goods to other settlers. They were in fact our earliest grocery stores.
As time as advanced and we can go to our local grocery stores for all our needs, the all natural, little farmers markets fell to the way side.
