August 30, 2018

Laramie County Community College’s Outreach Center in Pine Bluffs will offer a variety of classes for everyone this fall.

Courses will range from ways to earn a college degree without going into debt to a one-time lecture on Amelia Earhart, the female pilot who mysteriously disappeared in the 1930s.

The outreach center located at the Pine Bluffs Historic High School, 607 Elm Street.

Classes offered in September follow:

Parenting the Love and Logic Way

Six sessions, Tuesdays, Sept. 11 - Oct. 16

Beginning in 1977, the Love and Logic Institute has worked to help make parenting and teaching fun and rewarding, instead of stressful and chaotic, according to LCCC’s fall catalog.

Instructors in the course will provide practical tools and techniques that help parents achieve respectful and healthy relationships with their children.

In this course, parents will obtain the tools to put an end to arguing, back-talk and begging while also learning how to set limits in order to avoid power struggles.

Friday, Sept. 28 9-11 a.m. (Kids)
