Burns-Pine Bluffs wrestlers compete at Charlie Lake Invite tourney

ayson finished second in the 170 lb varsity weight class at the Charlie Lake Invite wrestling tournament held Friday and Saturday of last week.

He was defeated in the final match by Eaton, S.D.'s Ty Garnhart.

It was Clayson's only loss of the tournament.

Kyle Thurin earned a 6-2 record and wrestled for third place against Kelly Walsh's Luke Nathan in the varsity 182 weight class.

In the 195 class, Lash Branigan had the opportunity to compete for third place honors - and he won, to finish the season-opening tournament with a 7-2 record.
