Curtis named Pine Bluffs' Wyoming Municipal Power Agency representative

Pine Bluffs Mayor Alan Curtis will serve as the town’s representative on a cooperative for rural municipal power providers.

He was confirmed during the town’s regularly scheduled council meeting held Monday night.

Curtis will replace former representative Bill Cushing.

The mayor said it was his opinion that a member of the town’s governing body should serve on the board.

Curtis thanked Cushing for his service representing Pine Bluffs.

According to its website, the Wyoming Municipal Power Agency is the wholesale electric provider for eight public power communities in Wyoming.
