Post staff earn press awards

CHEYENNE - Pine Bluffs Post Publisher Penny Merryfield and Reporter Zach Spadt were honored with Pacemaker awards at the Wyoming Press Association Annual Convention held in Cheyenne over the weekend.

Merryfield's ongoing weekly series, "A Veteran's Story" took first place in Miscellaneous Speciality Reporting.

It was her first award at the Pine Bluffs Post and her first Wyoming Press Association Pacemaker.

"A Veteran's Story" appears weekly in the Post and features a profile on a local veteran.
