Turning Up the heat is not always an option for some

For low- and fixed-income families, turning up the heat during the cold Wyoming winter months is not always an option. The Low-Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP) may be able to help and is still accepting applications.

As cold weather and snow remain in the forecast, most Wyoming families will be turning up their thermostats to keep warm. If low-income Wyoming families are wondering how they will heat their homes and get through the remaining winter months, LIEAP is still accepting applications through February 28, 2019.
