PBHS boys win regional basketball title, seek 3rd state championship in four years
A 3-0 2A regional tournament performance gave the Pine Bluffs boys a top seed at the 2019 Wyoming State Basketball Tournament.
The Hornets defeated Moorcroft, Big Horn and Wright to win the eastern Wyoming Region.
In the tournament opener, Pine Bluffs quickly ran away form Moorcroft to win the first game 70-26 last Thursday.
In that game, Michael Shain led scoring with 20 points.
Of Shain’s 20 points, 9 came from 3-point shots.
Tucker Norman also had scored in the double-digits with 12 points, as did Andrew Fornstrom (11) and Justus Golding (10).
