Ervin H. Klundt U.S. Army WWII Bronze Star

From out of the dusty boxes and stored memories, Ervin H. Klundt lives again to tell his story.

Klundt was born August 7, 1913 to Jacob K Klundt and Carolina Ackerman in Grafton, Nebraska. He is the cousin of local Pine Bluff resident Otto Marquart.

Marquart was going through some memorabilia and memories from his family, and came across his cousin Ervin's story and miscellaneous paperwork showing him to be a Bronze Star recipient of World War II.

In Klundt's words, as he has written, his time in the United States Army would not only take him to the war, but to the "riches" of Germany.
