Council unanimously approves two scholarships for graduating seniors and a stop sign at 4th and Maple

Mrs. Theobald's third grade class jump started Monday's town council meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance. Fresh faced and eager, 17 students sat in rapt attention as the bimonthly meeting took place. As part of the third grade government requirement the class was able to watch the council in action, and ask questions of Mayor Alan Curtis and the other council members one student even inquiring about the minimum age requirement to run for a seat on the council.
