Laura Ward A Veteran's Story

Laura Ward was born on July 7th, 1956 in Cheyenne, WY, to Ernest and Dorothea. She would spend four years in Cheyenne until 1960.

At that time, her mom would move Her and her brother to Delphos, Ohio. Ward would stay and attend school in Delphos. She would graduate from St. John Grade and High School in Delphos.

After high school Ward went to college in Cincinnati for a year and then decided she wasn't ready for college. During this time of indecision her brother talked her into joining the military. He joined the Navy while she chose the Army.
