New Mayor Jim Clark presided over his first town council meeting Monday night, and first order of business was the announcement of the resignation of council member Ron Hopkins. The council will accept letters of intent for the open seat until Thursday, June 20th, and will interview hopefuls at the 1 p.m. session on June 24th. The new council member should expect to be appointed on July 8th.
