Saturday saw an incredibly windy day for the Laramie County 4H West Archery Competition, but all participants did the best they could with what they had.

There were definitely a few familiar faces in the crowd, but people came from all over Laramie County to compete in the two day event. Chad Haley, Laramie County 4H West Side Archery Leader was on hand to keep score and offer pointers. "The wind is making things a little messier than we'd like, but we keep shooting." Haley stated. And shoot they did, from the junior line that went up to age ten, to the intermediate and senior line, premium money could be earned if scores are turned into the the county fair.

Although scores are kept, the participants have the option to compete at the state level. If a participant choses to do so, a team will be made out of the top scorers for the state competition.
