Laramie County Library System to host Former Professional Female Baseball Player

On Thursday, July 18 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Cottonwood Room, Laramie County Library System will host Dolly Ozburn for a presentation on her time in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League. Joining in 1952 at the age of 14, Ozburn played in the league for two years before it went defunct in 1954. She consulted on the film A League of Their Own, lending her expertise to ensure it was historically accurate. During her presentation, she will discuss her time in the league, her experience helping create a feature-film, and her love for the sport of baseball.
