New Council member sworn in at Burns town council

Monday evenings town council meeting opened up with the swearing in of the newly appointed councilman Jeff Appleman. Appleman is a welcome member to the council and we look forward to having him serve.

Jeff Bartels informed council that as of last meeting he has halted all use of personal vehicles when responding to an emergency. This has caused some issues as Bartels is the only EMT that lives in Burns, and others are not responding to calls as they have no other transportation to the scene and live at least eight to ten minutes from town.
