Terry Bison Ranch a rich history since 1881

In 1881 a prominent Cheyenne citizen named Charles Terry purchased over 300,000 acres that is known today as the Terry Bison Ranch. Four short years later Wyomings first territorial governor, F. E. Warren would purchase the ranch, and create the southern headquarters for Warren Livestock which ran sheep and cattle, and also bred sheepdogs. For over 50 years the Warren family would run the Terry Bison Ranch hosting prominent guests, even boasting the filming of "Charge of the Light Brigade" by Thomas Edison Studios.
