Pine Bowl is hosting the 24th annual team challenge this Saturday and Sunday and with 23 teams signed up to bowl, it's looking to be a pretty good time. Teams are required to have a 725 max average, and each team must have at least one female to qualify. Teams may enter up to the morning of the tournament, and the prize money will be returned at 100 percent.

Teams pay $175 to enter and your entry fee includes dinner! If you've been bowling with leagues there is a minimum 21 game average as of January 1 that must be used. If you haven't been bowling you can either use a final average from 2018/2019 or bowl scratch 220 make sure you check, however, a false average will cause your team to be disqualified.

To enter you must have a United States Bowling Congress (USBC) membership card. Non-members can either purchase a membership or pay a participation fee. The tournament will follow the USBC rules, and teams will qualify on Saturday bowling 12 games across 8 lanes in Baker Format. Teams that make it through to Sunday will bowl double elimination starting at 10 a.m.

It's not too late to sign up your teams, if you have questions or would like more information, please contact Jim Zitek at 245-3622
