Strong winds and heavy rains have battered our small town for the last couple of days. Several property casualties have been reported, and winter weather conditions have closed portions of interstate 80 between Cheyenne and Laramie. While Wyoming residents are no strangers to diverse weather conditions, there was some dismay when it was discovered by locals that our Veteran's Memorial Park suffered the loss of one of its statues.
