Grover CO had its 97th annual PRCA rodeo this weekend. The Biggest Little Rodeo in The West. Because so many rodeos have been cancelled, there were several "big" PRCA champions competing. There were arena record breaking scores and event record breaking scores.

This was a rodeo for the record books! 3 former NFR champions and one reserve champion competed in little old Grover CO! Mary Walker (2012 NFR Champion) won the barrel racing today at age 61! She also won Grover back in 2012, the same year she won the NFR. 2 new event records were set. The all-time arena high score was broken, then broken again later in the day! A 2-time NFR Champion rode in our little Rodeo. This weekend was off the charts!

The traditional storm rolled through but there was a small amount of rain. In 2011 it rained and hailed. There was 4 inches in a downpour and the Judges had to stop the Rodeo for a while due to not being able to see the contestants. It was a muddy mess for the rest of the Rodeo.

Miss Rodeo Colorado Hailey Frederiksen from Wellington CO, was there for two days and Rode in the Grand Entry! Taos Muncy was there with concessions.

Several events were not held. The 4-H club was not able to serve the concessions, which was their big money maker for the year, The Saturday morning Parade, The barbeque meal after the Saturday Rodeo and the evening dance with live music due to the virus.
