Albin town council discusses generators, land purchase and truck repairs

The search for a maintenance man to serve the Town of Albin continues.

According to Town Clerk, Jillian Kriz, interviews are continuing.

Old business consisted of a review for the lunch program; with regards to the generators - a company will be out next Friday to look at them and give an estimate.

A voting drop box will be in the town clerk's office for ballots; a building permit for Dominguez; Mike's Saloon requested a liquor permit for the junior rodeo; the purchase of 1.55 acres of church land for $1,500.00 by Mobile Home park.

A maintenance report reflected the toolcat and trash trucks need repairs.

A report was made with regards to bills and expenses to be paid. Motion was made by council member Kate Russell, and seconded by council member Kelley Kriz to pay the debts and expenses.

It was announced the next meeting of the Albin town council would be August 13, 2020 at 7:00 p.m..

The meeting was adjourned to go into executive session to discuss personnel.
