Early Saturday morning before 7:00 a.m. runners and walkers gathered at the starting point for their event.
Runners consisted of forty-four individuals looking to run the distance of three miles, while nine walkers walked a distance of one mile.
There were several canine walkers/runners and of course Jeff Fornstrom rode his cart around the course to assist the runners/walkers.
World runner Brent Weigner of Cheyenne also competed.
Over all winner of the 5K was Alejards Garcia of Pine Bluffs.
