Pine Bluffs Recreation managed to host a variety of activities this summer, albeit with increased safety precautions due to COVID-19.

One of the first activities held was a parking lot tailgate party in May where participants could tune into the recreation staff’s 87.9 The Virus to make requests and dedicate songs, said Sonja Fornstrom, recreation director.

Summer-ball leagues included peewee, tee ball, senior tee ball, and little league which ran from June 22 to July 23. Adult coed softball was also in session. Pickleball has been held throughout the summer as well.
