Burns Lady Broncs beat Cheyenne Central JV at home in 4 sets on Friday, Sept. 11, sealing a three game win streak as they prepare for their first home conference game against Rawlins.

“The girls played very competitive overall, we just had a mental block in the third set and had critical errors in critical times which caused the loss of the set,” said Shelle Mosley, head coach.

The scores were 25-14, 25-23, 21-25, and 25-16.

Jaden Gipfert had 13 kills, 16 digs, and 3 block assists.

Sienna Gallegos had 12 kills, 11 digs, and 2 block assists.

Emma Norris had 9 kills and 2 blocks.

Rylee Ward had 21 digs, 38 assists, and 6 ace serves.

Alexis Engel had 22 digs and 2 ace serves.

“Overall, the pieces of the puzzle keep coming together and I'm pleased with the progress we are making each week,” said Mosley.

Burns will host Rawlins (5-2) on Friday, Sept. 18 for a 3 p.m. game and then travel to Torrington (5-1) on Sept. 19 for an 11 a.m. game.
