Kay Dersham, the school nurse for the Pine Bluffs and Burns schools, started her series of vaccines on Monday, January 11. The Pine Bluffs school staff will start receiving the first series of shots on February 16th 2021, Burns staff will start the next day on February 17, 2021. The 2nd round of shots will be on March 9 and 10, 2021.
The official name for the vaccine is the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine. Each vaccine comes in a series of 2 shots, about 3 weeks apart.
