Pine Bluffs Hornets and Lady Hornets Basketball

On January 8, the Pine Bluffs Hornets Boys basketball team played a double header against the Kaycee Buckaroos and the Sundance Bulldogs. Both games were close but the hard running Hornets fell short in both games. The Bulldogs overcame the Hornets by a score of 65 to 46. The Buckaroos beat them 54 to 50.

The 6-1 Bulldogs were just too much for the Hornets to handle. Although some good performances by the team did stand out. Stuart Lerwick (Sophomore) led the team with 21 points. He hit 5 three pointers and 1 field goal. He also went 4 for 4 at the free throw line. Collin Jessen (Junior) H...
