Local Powerlifter takes first place at Colorado Meet

Local powerlifter Refugio Cerenil recently competed in the World Raw Powerlifting Competition in Windsor, Colorado. Cerenil took home the first place prize for bench in his weight and age class. He also took overall for his age and weight class.

Cerenil has been competing less than two years and to date, he has only competed in Wyoming, mostly Casper and Cheyenne. "I have been training and competing in Wyoming only for the past year." he said. "This was my first competition outside of the borders of Wyoming." he added.
