Members from the Pine Bluffs Legion Post and Auxiliary prepared a meal complete with dessert and beverage at the Cheyenne Discipleship Center for a goup of homeless women and men, many which are veterans.
This has become a monthly activity for Post 60, reaching out to help many of the homeless veterans in our area.
During the March 24th dinner, many of the homeless filled their plates and bowls with chili, fruit, cornbread and desserts. Upon receiving their beverage of coffee, water or lemonade they spoke of thanks, and showed just great gratitude for receiving a warm meal.
