Pine Bluffs Post - Serving all of Eastern Laramie County since 1908

The Pine Bluffs Hornets Track and Field team tried to host a track meet last Friday. The teams were hot and ready but Mother Nature had other plans and the teams ended up cancelling most of the meet. There was lightning and rain in the area and the athletes were in danger of getting hurt.

Coach Lee had these comments: "It was a great day for a meet, until it wasn't!  Due to the long lightning delay in the afternoon and potential no end in sight for rain, the coaches from all the schools voted to cancel the remaining four events.  Those events were the 300 hurdles, 1600m run, 400m relay...
