You’re a bigot! You’re racist! Homophobe! Xenophobe! You just want to throw Grandma over a cliff! Sound familiar? Those are only a small sample of terms Democrats, Socialists, throw around to make Conservatives back down from the battle. Unfortunately it works. Remember the old saying we used as kids, “Sticks and stones can break my bones but words will never hurt me”? I think we all said it at one time or another but it isn’t true. Words do hurt.
