Fundraiser held to help out local resident

When neighbors are down the community rallies to help. At the Knotty Pine Saloon it was a benefit for Buzz Canady to raise money to help with medical expenses.

Canady had contracted the Covid virus this year. He was in the hospital for 21 days and seven of them was in an Intensive Care Unit. Canady even had a stroke or two throughout this time. He has been working hard to recover through rehabilitation. He is now home able to stand for short periods of time occasionally using a walker to help. He's had to relearn to talk, eat, and do other items for himself. Canady does have some dizziness...
