Burns/Pine Compete at the Shana Ward Memorial

The Pine Bluffs/Burns Cross Country track team traveled to Saratoga to compete in the Shana Ward Memorial Cross Country Invitational meet. There were a total of 11 teams that competed in the meet. Manila school out of Utah was there. Teams from all over the state competed including Fort Washakie, Rawlins, Riverton and Rock River. The Pine Bluffs/Burns teams placed well. The girls team placed second overall and the boys team placed seventh.

On the girls team Emma Gonzalez continues her push for another All-State Award. She finished first in the 5000m run with a time of 19 min 57.28 sec. Coa...
