The undefeated Wheatland Bulldogs came into Burns Friday night looking to continue their unbeaten streak, but a great team effort and outstanding individual performances gave the Broncs the big win in front of the home crowd.
Wheatland was able to get on top in the early going when senior quarterback Kade Preuit found senior wide receiver Rodee Brow open, and connected for a 57 yard touchdown. After a failed point after attempt, the Bulldogs led 6-to-0. It took until the second quarter for the Broncs to respond, when Cooper Lakin hit Jackson Kirkbride for a 20 yard touchdown reception.
