One of Burns/Pine Bluffs cross country track team members has signed with South Dakota State in a division 1 league. Emma Gonzalez was recognized for her accomplishments on the cross country team. Gonzales took 3rd in last years State Championship in October. Her time was a solid 19:49.75. Gonzales has been competing since her freshman year and has improved each year. In her junior year she placed 8th at state. In her sophomore year she placed 24th and in her freshman year she placed 39th.
