Serrano breaks personal record

Monse Serrano had just won the shot put event in Laramie for the Burns/Pine Bluffs indoor track team and broke her own personal record for the event. I sat down with her and discussed her accomplishments and her thoughts for the future.

Serrano was very happy in beating her record and was happy to help her team too. Her throw of 38ft 3in broke her own personal record and also beat all the other competitors in the event to take first place. Serrano took up track and field in the seventh grade.
