An Interview with the Division 2 Basketball Champs

I had a chance to sit down with coach Kimzey and the 2022 State High School Basketball Champions Pine Bluffs Hornets today. It was a lighthearted and fun interview with a team that really puts the team first in their play and attitude. Asking what Coach Kimzey thought about the team he said, "This was the best team he has coached so far." He added, "They listen, play hard and are fun to watch." When asked about his first loss to the Douglas Bulldogs he did not hesitate to say that it was a coaching problem. He put the blame on the coaching and not on the playing.
